FUTURE PLANS and STUDIES
The Five-Year Work Plan identifies available construction funds for the next five years and provides a schedule for when specific projects will be constructed.
The Expressway Authority adopted its 2030 Expressway Master Plan March 2006. The plan identifies roadway improvements and expansion that will be necessary over the next 25 years. The plan also addresses policy positions on a broad range of issues including financial needs.
The Expressway Authority has made the SR 429 Wekiva Parkway™, which will complete the beltway around metropolitan Orlando, a top priority.
To help meet future transportation needs related to continuing growth expected in Central Florida, the Expressway Authority in November 2006 kicked off five Corridor Feasibility Studies. Click here to find out more information.
